WASHINGTON, D.C. — FreedomWorks For America launched a $100K independent expenditure last week in support of vulnerable House candidates this midterm election cycle. The independent expenditure will last throughout the month. FreedomWorks For America’s target races include:

  • Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.), Virginia’s 7th congressional district
  • Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.), North Carolina’s 13th congressional district
  • Rep. Peter Roskam (R-Il.), Illinois’s 6th congressional district
  • Mark Harris, Republican candidate for North Carolina’s 9th congressional district
  • Denver Riggleman, Republican candidate for Virginia’s 5th congressional district

Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks for America President, commented:

“With a ‘blue wave’ looking increasingly likely this November, it’s time to dig in and protect our people. Many of the candidates that we are committed to preserving and protecting are members of the House Freedom Caucus– dedicated conservatives who put principle before party. We are proud to stand by these steadfast fiscal hawks going into November.”

Noah Wall, FreedomWorks For America Executive Director, commented:

“Reps. Brat, Budd and Roskam have shown time and time again that they are no strangers to fighting the Washington establishment tooth and nail. Now, FreedomWorks For America will do the same for them, along with Mark Harris and Denver Riggleman. Mark my words, this midterm election will see an expansion of the House Freedom Caucus.”
