WASHINGTON, D.C. — As Virginians head to the polls in the close races for statewide offices and control of the House of Delegates, FreedomWorks for America activists have once again demonstrated their robust involvement in the commonwealth.

In 2021, FreedomWorks for America has held 20 virtual and in-person events in Virginia, training more than 1,790 activists.

—More than 500 Virginians have been trained to be officers of elections.

—More than 100 Virginians have signed our Voter Rights Pledge.

—More than 3,800 Virginians have taken action against the Democrats’ federal election takeover bills, H.R. 1 and H.R. 4.

—Activists have sent more than 300,000 peer-to-peer texts on behalf of Glenn Youngkin in just the last two weeks of the campaign. Texts were targeted at independent-minded married Virginians between the ages of 30 and 50, the demographic who will decide this election.

President Mike Pence for a rally in Purcellville, which highlighted the importance of parental involvement in schools–the key issue in this race. A recent poll found that likely voters trust Youngkin to do a better job on education by a significant margin. Youngkin also maintains a strong lead among parents of children in grades K-12, whom we have targeted.

Regardless of the outcome of this election, our activists will continue to lead the fight in support of parental rights in education; sound fiscal policies; and proven state-level leaders, like Glenn Youngkin, who will stand up to the Biden administration’s overreach in all areas.
