FreedomWorks for America Responds to the News of Senator Thad Cochran’s Retirement

Following the news of Senator Thad Cochran’s retirement, FreedomWorks for America President Adam Brandon commented:

“Our thoughts are with Sen. Cochran and his family as he focuses on his health challenges. FreedomWorks and Sen. Cochran have found ourselves on the opposite sides of many policy battles, but we appreciate his service and believe a conservative like State Senator Chris McDaniel would be a great voice in Congress to represent limited-government values. Grassroots conservatives are working hard to make sure Mississippi sends a true conservative to Washington to help drain the swamp.”
