FreedomWorks for America Statement on Grassroots Efforts in Wisconsin Supreme Court Race

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the Wisconsin Supreme Court election results, Margaret Iuculano, FreedomWorks For America Executive Vice President, commented:

“In an effort to tip the majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the far left poured millions of dollars into the race, outspending conservatives by over 10 to 1. While the election results were not what we had hoped for, our FreedomTeams were able to introduce new strategies that proved successful.”

“Our grassroots efforts focused on a targeted implementation of an absentee ballot chase program. As a result, by Monday almost half a million Wisconsinites voted early, and FreedomTeams saw over 70 percent return of absentee ballots. Although the outcome was not in our favor, these strategies produced results and will be key components in our grassroots efforts for the remainder of the 2024 election cycle. Thanks to the hundreds of Wisconsinites who spent countless hours knocking on doors, making phone calls, and sending text messages to their friends and neighbors. You truly made a difference.”
