FreedomWorks for America Endorses Van Taylor in the TX-03 Congressional Race

FreedomWorks for America President Adam Brandon announced the endorsement of Republican Van Taylor in the TX-03 congressional race. The seat is currently occupied by Rep. Sam Johnson, who opposed voting on a repeal of ObamaCare last year when President Trump was ready to sign it, a bill he voted for when he knew President Obama would veto it.

“Van Taylor served our country in the military, and now he’s willing to report for duty again in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Taylor has a proven track record of advancing fiscal responsibility and transparency in the Texas House and Senate. He championed the Truth in Taxation Rule, which forces Texas legislators to disclose in the first line of any bill if there’s an attempt to raise taxes or fees.

“Taylor has overwhelming grassroots support from conservative activists and community leaders because they know he has the creativity and the courage to fight for limited-government solutions when it matters most.”
