Following news that Fox News officially declared West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey winner of the Senate Republican primary, FreedomWorks for America president Adam Brandon commented:

“We endorsed Patrick Morrisey in July 2017, he was one of our first endorsements this cycle. It was immediately obvious to our local grassroots activists that Morrisey was the only credible challenger to Sen. Joe Manchin.”

“This race is a huge pick-up opportunity for the GOP, and we plan to continue investing heavily and empowering boots-on-the-ground for Patrick Morrisey in the general election.”

FreedomWorks for America was the first major Super PAC to endorse Morrisey and implemented a robust digital ad campaign to “Get Out The Vote” for conservative Republicans statewide.

In a Trump-favorited state where less than 100,000 Republicans turn out to vote in a midterm primary election, FreedomWorks for America reached nearly 150,000 pivotal conservatives and Republicans with an average of nearly 10 digital advertisements each. The ads communicated a pro-Morrisey message and provided voters with polling location information.

FreedomWorks for America is a grassroots Super PAC dedicated to organizing and supporting local activists to elect candidates who believe in smaller government, lower taxes, free markets, personal liberty, and the rule of law.
