John Gibbs is a Michigan native, the grandson of sharecroppers from the deep south, and the first of his family to attend college. He exemplifies the definition of the American Dream.
With over 20 years in the public, private, and non-profit sector, John became a leader in the Trump administration, standning up to the bureaucratic state and fighting to deliver a pro-America, pro-freedom agenda.
President Trump appointed John to serve as Acting Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development at United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In this role, he oversaw an annual budget of $8 billion to combat homelessness and expand economic opportunity. John was nominated by President Trump to be the Director of the Office of Personnel Management. He was also appointed by President Trump to serve on the 1776 Commission, where he fought Critical Race Theory helping communities focus educational curricula on the founding documents and principles rather than divisive identity politics.
John Gibbs will fight to control inflation by cutting spending; securing the border; standing up for the rights of parents; and taking on the woke left–just as he has always done.
