After narrowly losing a bid for state Senate in 2020, Las Vegas real estate attorney April Becker is hoping to unseat two-term Democratic Rep. Susie Lee in the race for Nevada’s Congressional District 3.
April is a hard working mother of three who put herself through college and law school to notably become a top-rated litigator in Las Vegas. April has always enjoyed fighting for the underdog and taking the tough cases, especially providing pro-bono legal aid to those in need. She also proudly serves on the UNLV Libraries Advisory Board and she knows that education can help level the playing field and lift people out of poverty.
Becker says she never desired a career in politics, but she got fed up with the politicians representing her. April is ready to combat inflation and the open border crisis, and empower parents and students first when it comes to education.
